Obituary of Arewood Hughson

The passing of Arewood “Burns” Hughson of Noonan, NB, husband of the late Edith (Page) Hughson, occurred on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at his residence. Born on December 7, 1925 in Burtts Corner, NB, he was the son of the late Sternie and Ferne (Jones) Hughson. Burns is survived by his daughter, Linda Amey (Bruce) of Quispamsis, NB; son, Bob Hughson of Noonan, NB; grandchildren, Chris Good (Brandon), Karen Hughson, Bobby Hughson (Dianna Saunders), Amanda Winchester (Kevin) and Scott Amey; great-grandchildren, Riley, Kieran and Bridget Winchester; sister, Faye Harvey of Vancouver Island, BC; nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11 am from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Zealand, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
