Obituary of Clarice Briggs

The passing of Clarice June (Moffitt) Briggs of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Manley Donald Briggs occurred on Friday, May 10, 2013 at York Care Centre. Born on June 25, 1929 in Harvey Station, NB, she was the daughter of the late T. Russell and Amy (Brown) Moffitt. She was an adherent of Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey, NB. Clarice is survived by her brother, Aubrey Moffitt (Barbara) of McAdam, NB; special nieces and nephews; her extended family, staff and residence of York Care Centre, Tower Three. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Floyd (Phyllis) Moffitt and brothers and sisters-in-law, Thelma Briggs, Allan (Phyllis) Briggs and Ross (Lucille) Briggs; nephews, Richard and Kirk Briggs. A Memorial Service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey, NB on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will take place in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
