Obituary of Richard Curran

The passing of Richard Robert Curran of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 9, 1952 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Robert and Joan (Hacker) Curran. Dick at one time was an employee of Trainor Surveys and the projectionist at the Gaiety Theater, Valley Drive In and Sunset Road Drive In. He was a member of the Fredericton Model Rail Road Club. Dick is survived by his sister, Debbie (Glendon) Hill of Fredericton; niece, Stephanie Hill of Fredericton; nephew, Rick (Annie) Brewer of Pine Glen; great nephew, Liam Brewer of Pine Glen. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Midge and Olive Curran of Fredericton and Everett and Alice Hacker of St. Stephen. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery.
