Obituary of Jason Neilson

The passing of Jason Trevor Neilson of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of Amanda (Brewer) Neilson occurred on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 16, 1973 in Bath, NB, he was the son of Charlotte (Foster) Chute and Trevor (Kathy) Neilson. He worked as an Electrician Apprentice for Joe Colter Electric. Jason enjoyed being the drummer for various bands; he was also a minor hockey coach for Keswick Valley Minor Hockey and was an avid Maple Leaf Fan. In addition to his wife and parents, Jason is survived by his two children, Pierce and Emily; sister, Tonya Neilson (Blake Estey); step sister, Shelly Schriver; step brothers, Darren Chute (Amanda), Ted Schriver (Lori) and Greg Schriver (Jean); grandmother, Joyce Neilson; mother in law, Brenda Brewer; several sisters and brothers in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, James and Madeline Foster and Arthur Neilson; step father, Jackie Chute and father in law, Laureston Brewer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 am with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.
