Obituary of Flora O'Donnell

The passing of Flora Mildred O’Donnell formerly of Carroll`s Crossing, NB, wife of the late Grattan O’Donnell occurred on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on November 7, 1930 in Carroll’s Crossing, NB, she was a daughter of the late Keyes and Hazel (Amos) O’Donnell. Flora loved music and enjoyed attending jamborees and music events. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Flora is survived by four daughters, Audrey Arbeau (late Leonard Arbeau) of Doaktown, NB, Palma Morais (Roger) of Bathurst, NB, Lorna Randall (Charles) of Fredericton, NB, Monique O’Donnell (Marty McNutt) of Keswick Ridge, NB; three sons, Larry O’Donnell of McNamee, NB, Kevin O’Donnell (Marjorie) of Blissfield, NB, Timothy O’Donnell (Tara) of Fredericton, NB; eleven grandchildren, Sabrina, Adam, Jesse, Aaron, Makenna, Kyle, Jacqueline, Angel, Lance, Evan and Tanner; five great-grandchildren, Austin, Alexander, Samuel, Nathaniel and Jonathan; sister, Theoda Stewart of McNamee, NB; two brothers, Richard O’Donnell of Doaktown, NB, Amos O’Donnell (Marie) of Brandon, MB; sister-in-law, Inez Lyons of Doaktown, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Flora was predeceased by her sister, Lois Wellwood and brother, Floyd O’Donnell. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. J. A. Treese officiating. Interment will be in St. John`s Anglican Church Cemetery, Carroll`s Crossing at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
