Obituary of Louise Rogers
On Sunday, March 10, 2013, Louise “Lou” Eleanor Rogers, of Upper Kingsclear, NB, wife of the late Herbert “Bert” Rogers, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Lou was born in Indian Mountain, NB on April 18, 1923 the daughter of the late Irvin and Emily Ann (Parrott) Trites.
Lou is survived by her children, Brian (Wanda) of Steeves Mountain, NB, Mark of Upper Kingsclear, NB, Pam Miller of Quispamsis, NB and Ruth Rogers of Barre, VT; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, Madison; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 58 years and her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Beulah Milner, Beatrice Gardner and Ethel Lutes; brothers, Henry and Clarence.
Lou was a member of the CWAC during WWII, serving in Sussex, NB and Farnborough, England.
No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Birch Hill Cemetery, Berry Mills, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Compassionate Ministries, Church of the Nazarene, The Canadian Gideon International or Fredericton Emergency Shelters.
