Obituary of Barbara Wilkins

The passing of Barbara C. Wilkins, wife of Elbridge Wilkins of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 29, 1927 in Summerville, Mass, USA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Annie (Cassidy) Craigs. Barbara was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Yvon Bourque) Clark of Dieppe, NB and Joyce Trites (Michael) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Todd (Jane Matthews-Clark) and Angela Clark (David Mullins), Lesley Trites (Kenneth Kunin) and Andrew Trites; great grandchildren, Tyler Flemming, Logan Mullins, Wesley and Addisen Clark; sister, Jean Craigs of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her twin sister, Marjorie Atherton and brothers, Walter, Douglas and Gerald Craigs. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.
