Obituary of Gerald Breau
The passing of Gerald Bruce Breau, husband of the late Marie “Della” Irvine-Breau of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 14, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Walter and Beryl (Bruce) Breau. Gerald belonged to the Operating Engineers Local 946 and was also a member of the Burtts Corner Lions Club and Mick Mack Trailer Park. He enjoyed travelling and spending time in Florida. Gerald will be remembered as someone that would lend a helping hand to all.
Gerald is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Gaudet (Kevin) and Shelley Delong (Jamie); grandchildren, Parker and Paige Delong; siblings, Chris Breau, Sandra Watson (Delbert Scott), Bert Breau (Sandy), Joey Breau (Sonja), Marie Breau (Gerald Aube) and Lorne Breau (Vicky); special nephew, Rodney Nowlan; special friend, Clinton Wall (Ursula); several other nieces, nephews, many friends and Sarah his loyal feline companion.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11 am with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery in the spring.
