His passion was in the Masonic order, having served in several positions and was well known to be able to fill in on a moments notice. Douglas was a member of the Nasonworth Baptist Church. He was a devoted family man and will be greatly missed by his family. Douglas is survived by his children, Douglas (Joan) Scott, Jane (James) Hovey, Elaine (Arnold) Dixon, Leslie (Dawna) Scott and Brenda (Alain) Comeau; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
