Obituary of Murray Short

Short, Murray Donald The passing of Murray Donald Short of Charters Settlement, NB, husband of the late Annice M. (Carpenter) Short, occurred Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on Dec 06, 1936 in McAdam, NB, he was the son of the late Donald and Mary (Adams) Short. He was a Forest Ranger for 22 years. Murray was a member of the Nasonworth Baptist Church and was an accomplished painter. Murray is survived by his son, Mitchell (Patti) Short of Riverview, NB; daughter, Elizabeth Short (Don Presby) of Fredericton, NB; daughter-in-law; Susan Short; grandchildren, Joshua (Alison), Charissa, Sarah, Emily, Justin, Jordon and Allison; great grandchildren, Jaycob, Justis, Caley and Shaela; brother, Frederick “Ted” Short; sisters; Janet Jewett, Frances Purdue, Ethel Nason and Violet Day. Besides his wife, and parents Murray was predeceased by his son, Sgt. Robert Short; grandson, Jacob and sister, Mary. Visitation will take place at the Nasonworth Baptist Church on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 pm. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held from the Nasonworth Baptist Church on Sunday, November 25, 2012 with Rev. David Gray officiating. Interment will take place in the Nasonworth Baptist Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
