Obituary of Carl Thomas

The passing of Carl Lochlan Thomas of Tay Creek, NB, husband of Ann (Furlotte) Thomas, occurred on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 3, 1944 in Tay Mills, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Alma (MacKinnon) Thomas. Carl was a truck driver. He was a past member of the Lions Club. In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his daughter, Lisa Hayes (Neal) of Tay Creek, NB; son, Justin Thomas of Fredericton Junction, NB; grandchildren, Andrea, Lauren and Connor Hayes; sisters, Dorothy Boone (Allen) of Tay Creek, NB, Evelyn MacKinnon of Fredericksburg, NB, Ellen Elliott (Guy Harris) of Fredericton Junction, NB and Bonnie Thomas (Claude Peterson) of McGivney, NB; brothers, Garnet Thomas (Rowena) of Giants Glen, NB and David Thomas (Kathy) of Williamsburg, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Jack and Frank Thomas. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 11 am with Mr. Wally Ellis DLM officiating. Interment will take place in Cardigan Community Cemetery.
