Obituary of Mary Murray

The passing of Mary Ida (Pond) Murray formerly of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Everett Murray, occurred on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Mill Cove Nursing Home. Born on February 8, 1927 in Mount Royal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Ida M. (Evans) Pond. Mary was a nurse. She was a member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church. Mary is survived by her three sons, Dale Murray (Ann Fillmore) of Grand Lake, NB, Keith Murray of Grand Lake, NB and Alan Murray of Durham, NB; grandchildren, Stacey, Curtis, Krista, Christopher, Jeramy, Candice and Brandon; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Elva Pond, Helen MacKinnon and Fredricka Long; step-brother, Allison Pond. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 11 am with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery.
