Obituary of Henry Russell

Russell, Henry Joseph The passing of Henry Joseph Russell of Fredericton, NB, husband of Anne Marie (Richard) Russell occurred on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 13, 1946 in Jacquet River, NB, he was a son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Noel) Russell. Henry was a member of St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church. Before retirement, Henry was a mechanic, welder and stationary engineer for Chippin’s Brothers. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays fan who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and going for Sunday drives on his scooter. In addition to his wife of 44 years, Henry is survived by his daughters, Kelly Russell (Brian Hallett) of Kingsley, NB, Jennifer Clair (Robert) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Judy, John and Mary Hallett, Kayla and Alex Clair; brothers, Ralph (Sharon), of Saint John, NB, Rival (Linda), of Burtts Corner, NB, Ian (Sonya), of Campbellton, NB and Gordon (Gloria), of Jacquet River, NB; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 11 am, with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
