Obituary of Leonard Arbeau
The passing of Leonard Perley Arbeau of Doaktown, NB, husband of Audrey (O’Donnell) Arbeau occurred on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 18, 1950 in Blissfield, NB he was a son of Perley and Maisie (Ward) Arbeau. Leonard was a mechanic by trade and worked for Lounsbury’s for over 30 years. He was a member of the Doaktown Curling Club, Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 23, Doaktown, enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a fishing guide for several years.
In addition to his wife and parents, Leonard is survived by one daughter, Sabrina Morehouse (Benji) of Keswick Ridge, NB; one son, Adam Arbeau (Tonya) of Penniac, NB; one grandson, Austin; two sisters, Paulette Munn (Donny Beairsto) of Fredericton, NB and Cindy Livingston (Rick Lassater) of Edmonton, AB; one brother, Thomas Arbeau (Eva) of Doaktown, NB; several nieces, nephews and his best friend, Roxy the dog.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. J.A. Treese officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the New Brunswick Lung Association.
