Obituary of Lois Ramier

The passing of Lois Avalyn (Broome) Ramier of Fredericton, NB, wife of James Ramier, occurred on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 13, 1939 in Prince William, NB, she was a daughter of the late George and Lydia (Saunders) Broome. In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by her son, Jamie Ramier (Kim) and their son, Grady of Hanwell, NB; daughter, Juli Ann Ramier-Nickerson (Mark) and their daughter, Autumn of Calgary, AB; granddaughter, Elizabeth Esterbrooks of Hamstead, NB; brother, Albert Broome of Silverwood, NB; sister, Katherine Kaine (Bill) of Calgary, AB; aunt, Jean Saunders of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation by request. A Graveside Service will take place at Prince William Cemetery, Prince William, NB on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. A reception will follow at the Prince William Senior’s Hall. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor’s choice.
