Obituary of Frederick Boyne

The passing of Frederick “Fred” Joseph Boyne, husband of Jean (Gillespie Buckingham) Boyne, of Fredericton, NB (formerly of Burtt's Corner, NB) occurred on Sunday, July 22nd, 2012 at York Care Centre. Born on April 27, 1934 in Wembley, AB, Fred was the son of George and Rosella (Williams) Boyne. Fred loved woods work and had a passion for horses (Belgians). He enjoyed camping, travelling, fairs, and he especially enjoyed the young children in his family. Besides his wife Jean, Fred is survived by three daughters, Juanita Morehouse (Blaine), Burtt's Corner, NB, Leona MacIntyre (Frank), Windsor ON, Phyllis Vezina, Fredericton, NB; six sons, Alan and Andrew, BC, Walter, Fredericton, NB, Frederick Jr (Lynn), Burtt's Corner, NB, Willard, Windsor, ON, Neil (Sharon), Kingsley Rd.; five sisters, Katherine Lehr (Harvey), ON, Minnie Foss, Traceyville NB, Margaret Foss, Chipman, NB, Lydia Drost (Sterling), Burtt's Corner NB, Sylvia Goodheart (Chris), ON; three brothers, Arthur, Chipman, NB, David (Kathryn), Wiehr's Beach, NB, Edward (Dorothy), AB; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; five stepchildren, Cheryl Grant (Marven), Leanne Page (David), Dustin Buckingham (Theresa), Kerby Buckingham (Shannon) and Kendra Sparks (Scott); step grandchildren; step great and step great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Hugh; grandson, Billy; five brothers, John, Silas, Robert, Thomas and Walter; two sisters, Georgie and Lauretta. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday July 26, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating.
