Sepawonuk: The One Who Gifts Us With “Tomorrow”
The passing of Lacorah Rose Flemister – Sepawonuk: (The One Who Gifts Us With “Tomorrow”) of St. Mary’s First Nation, Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 29, 2011 in Fredericton, NB, Lacorah was the daughter of Savanna Coral Perley and Lamont Quinton Flemister; survived by her big brother, Quinton Lamont Flemister; uncles, Storm Perley-Brooks (Randi), Lamond M. Roberts; Laron A. Roberts and LaFon M. Roberts; aunts, Sierra R. Perley-Brooks, Trista C. Perley-Bear and Marquelle M. Clary; also survived by her grandparents, Beverly Perley, Andrew Brooks (Kelly), Madeline Lovelace, Lamont Roberts and great grandparents, Karen Perley and Carl Perley Sr. Lacorah is predeceased by her great grandparents, Walter and Helen Brooks and uncle, Marquis Fields.
Visitation will be at 197 Paul Street, St. Mary’s First Nation, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, July 24 and Wednesday, July 25, 2012. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 603 Union Street, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 11 am with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Pallbearers for the service will be Brendan “Moose” Brooks, Storm Perley-Brooks, Shaun Deveau and Carl Perley Jr. Reception following service to be held at St. Mary’s Entertainment Centre. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A special thank-you to the staff of the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (of DECRH) and also to Maryann Sabattis, Kristen Deveau, Sarah Nicholas and Anastasia Richer.
