Obituary of Amanda Shepherd

The passing of Amanda “Mandy” Dawn Shepherd, of Fredericton, NB, occurred suddenly on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Born on May 17, 1978 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Dale Richard and Lela (Merrett) Shepherd. Mandy was a loving mother to her two girls, Allyson and Marissa both of Fredericton, NB. Mandy is also survived by her brothers, Richard Shepherd of Fredericton, NB and Dale (Stacey) Shepherd of Yoho, NB; uncle, Bruce (Della) Shepherd and aunt, Laura (Peter) Underhill and all of Durham, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mandy was predeceased by her grandmother, Marjorie Shepherd and two uncles, Larry and Wendell Shepherd. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 2 pm with Harvey Finney officiating. Honourary Pallbearers for the service will be Bruce and Brian Shepherd, Peter, Jeremey and David Underhill. Interment will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
