Obituary of Eldred Love

The passing of Eldred James Edward Love, husband of Marion B. (Hine) Love, of Mactaquac, NB, occurred on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 25, 1935 in Millville, NB, he was a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Sproull) Love. Eldred was a dairy farmer and co owner of Mactaquac Farm Equipment. He was on the Nackawic School Board, enjoyed making maple sugar, camping, boating, water skiing, four wheeling and being outdoors. Besides his wife, Eldred is survived by his sons, Craig and Roger both of Mactaquac, NB; grandchildren, Andrew and Jeremy Hine, Channing and Brandon Love and their mother, Cindy; great grandchild, Seth Hine; sister, Alma (Mike) Gilmore of Fredericton, NB; brother, Harold (Anna) Love of Mactaquac, NB; brother-in-law, Rick (Debby) Hine of Mactaquac, NB; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Mactaquac Baptist Church on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Beckwith officiating. Interment will take place at Mactaquac Cemetery.
