Obituary of Barbara Cole

Cole, Barbara Leah The passing of Barbara “Barb” Leah Cole of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on November 15, 1942 in England, she was the daughter of Phyllis (Connor) Munn of York Care Center and the late Sherman Munn. Barb was a lover of cats, bird watching, gardening and cooking. She was a cheerful and dedicated employee of Sobeys Brookside Mall for over 15 years. Barb is survived by her beloved mother Phyllis, daughters, Kim (Cole) Finnamore (Doug Fraser) of Owen Sound, ON and Brenda (Cole) Letcher (Phillip Letcher) of Edmonton, AB; special cousin Diane Munn, special friends Normand and Terry McDonald, step children Mike Ward (Patricia), Sandra Ward and Tanya Ward and their families. She was predeceased by her father Sherman and her husband Herbert Ward. Kim and Brenda would like to thank everyone for their care and support especially Normand and Terry McDonald, Noeny Currie, and the exceptional staff at York Care Centre. A Memorial service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Dr., Fredericton, NB on Tuesday June 19, 2012 at 2pm with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating.
