Obituary of Myrtle Blackmore
Caryl Blackmore (Randall), wife of Melvin Blackmore of Fredericton, NB, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 74 years. Born on July 8, 1937 in Fredericton, NB, she was the first born twin daughter of Maurice and Effie Randall (Burns).
A Faithful Believer till the end she regularly attended services at 2 Murray Avenue with The Christian Brethren. Ever loving, ever giving, she will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, and her children, Paul Blackmore (Alice), Lonnie Blackmore (Andrea), Stephen Blackmore (Debbie) and Dreama Galbraith (Dan) all of Fredericton, NB; plus her 13 grandchildren, Lisa Robinson (Nate), Kristin Whitehead (Ian), John Blackmore (Cassie), Susie Blackmore, Matthew Blackmore, Timothy Blackmore, Michael Blackmore (Jacquie), Amanda Blackmore, Scott Blackmore, Sarah Blackmore, Allan Galbraith, Nelson Galbraith and David Galbraith; as well as her siblings, Chet Randall (Jackie), Linda Morris (Greg) and Alden Randall (Marg); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sister and grandson, Luke Daniel Galbraith.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 1 pm with Mr. Cameron Wilkin officiating. Reception will follow in the Fireside Room. Interment will take place in the Byno Cemetery, Lakeville Corner, NB. A big thank you to Dr. Gordon MacDonald, Dr. Hart, all the Dialysis nurses and to the caring DECRH staff on 4NE.
