Obituary of Bernard Morehouse

The passing of Bernard Simon Morehouse of Zealand, NB, occurred on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 7, 1931 in Zealand, NB, he was the son of Simon and Viola (Estey) Morehouse. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator with Northside Ready Mix. Bernard enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing music and camping with family and friends. Bernard is survived by his son, Randy Morehouse and his wife, Kathy Corey of Fredericton, NB; granddaughter, Natasha Currie; step grandchildren, Jennifer and Jamie Greencorn; sister, Elva Gilbert of Zealand, NB and Ruby Pugh of Burtts Corner, NB; brothers, Douglas and Eugene Morehouse both of Zealand, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Lena Brewer, Erma Estey, Trena Morehouse and Anna Brewer; brothers, Reginald and Cecil Morehouse. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Gary Bitely officiating.
