Obituary of Constance Robinson

The passing of Constance Elizabeth “Betty” Robinson, wife of the late Charlie Robinson, of Doaktown, NB, occurred on June 21, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 29, 1927 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Dorcas. Betty was a member of St. Thomas United Church, the UCW, Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Doaktown and of the NB Crime Stoppers. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Robinson; granddaughters, Patricia (Mason) Slade and her husband, Chris as well as their 2 children, Gillian and Cameron of Whitby, ON, Jamie Robinson (Ron Green) and son, Joey Green of Saint John, NB; daughter-in-law, Linda Robinson of Saint John, NB; several nieces and nephews; two special care givers, Margaret and Lynda Munn and her two cats, Katie Lynn and Billy. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Judy Mason; son, Rick Robinson; brothers, Donnie and Gordon Dorcas. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Hazel Morris officiating. Interment will take place at St. Thomas United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
