Obituary of Norma Jean Clark
The sudden passing of Norma (Allen) Clark, wife of Garfield E. Clark, occurred on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born on June 2, 1940 in Scotch Settlement to the late Clifford and Eileen (Estey) Allen. Norma was a member of the Scotch Settlement United Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Some of her passions included knitting, shopping, and spending time in her flower garden.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, Norma is survived by; one daughter, Yvonne Kerasiotis (Bob) of Nashwaaksis and their children, Amanda (Ed Halley) and Kyle Kerasiotis; two sons, Eric (Andrea) of Hanwell and their children, Jesse, Skyler and Shane Clark and Bradley (Jocelyn) of Charters Settlement and their children, Ryan and Grace Clark; brother, Garnet Allen (Sharon) of St. Stephen; sister-in-law, Marion Allen of Scotch Settlement; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Roberta; infant sister, Maxine; brother, Royden and niece, Darlene.
There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 3 pm with Rev. Peter Beckwith officiating. Pallbearers will be her five grandsons, Kyle, Ryan, Jesse, Skyler and Shane along with a very special neighbor, Gary Grey. Interment will take place in Scotch Settlement Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
