Obituary of Louise Somerville

Louise Marie Somerville of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Waldo Somerville passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 20, 1942 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah May (Stickles) McCoy. She was a Cross guard with the City of Fredericton. Louise enjoyed her friends and family, she also volunteered at the soup kitchen for several years. Louise is survived by her daughters, Ann McCoy (Randy), Alberta McCoy, Nancy Breen (Paul) all of Fredericton, NB and Carol Estey of Ontario; sons, James Somerville (Susan), John Somerville (Karen Fosterino), Jerry Somerville (Angie) and Freddy Somerville (Shelly Arbeau) all of Fredericton, NB; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Darlene McCoy and brothers, Gordon, Kenny, Jim and Joey McCoy all of Maine, USA; several nieces and nephews; special lifetime friend, Gunther Luddeke. In addition to her husband, parents and her biological father, Jim McCoy, she was predeceased by her grandson, John Somerville; great grandson, Cameron Arbeau Brewer and brother, John McCoy. Although there will be no visitation by request of the family, a memorial service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Harold Jenkins officiating. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
