Obituary of Lynn Mundle
Lynn Dorothy (Parks) Mundle beloved wife, best friend and constant companion of Robert Oswald Mundle passed peacefully at their little slice of heaven at French Lake.
Lynnie was born in the good old Miramichi April 28, 1944. It was there she would make lifelong friends and meet the true love of her life. Lynn graduated from Moncton School of Nursing in 65. Dad swept her away and they eloped and moved to Marysville where they built a home and a family.
They have three children Wendy (Andy Williams), Billy (Andrea Johnston Mundle) and Cathy (John Monteith). Four grandchildren Matt Williams, Berni Lynn Williams (Douglas, NB), Nicholas Mundle and Alison Mundle of Windsor, Ontario.
Predeceased by her parents Anna and Howard Parks. Survived by her sisters Susan Gillingham, Judy Rogers, Edith Lynch, Diane Hawkins, brother Andy Parks and special aunts Dorothy Heckbert and Joyce Dunnett-Young.
No one enjoyed life more than Mom. She had a passion for people, animals, antiques and most of all her husband, family and friends. She was a consummate hostess. She always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She and Dad shared a special bond their entire marriage. Dad devoted himself 24/7 to her care until the end.
Many thanks to the wonderful health care professionals at the DECH including Dr Tom Barry, Dr Karyn Broad, Dr Graeme Young, Dr Sid Grant, staff of Oncology, Palliative Care and Emergency Departments for their excellent care and compassion with Lynnie and our family.
There will be no visitation or services as per her request. A celebration of her life will occur each and every time friends gather and raise a glass to this unforgettable lady! Bottoms Up!
Donations to the Oncology Unit @ DECH or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
We will miss you everyday but we are happy you are at peace and free of pain.
Happy Mother’s Day Mom.
We love you forever.
