Obituary of Juanita Fraser
The passing of Juanita “Neta” Evelyn Fraser of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, wife of the late Clarence “Ted” Fraser occurred on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on August 23, 1923 in Canterbury, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Pearl (Cunningham) English. Juanita was a member of the Nashwaak Bridge United Church of Canada, the United Church Women and a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary and the Nashwaak Bridge Golden Age Club.
Juanita is survived by her three sons, Kenneth Fraser (Gisela) of Lincoln, NB, Robert Fraser (Linda) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB and Arthur Fraser (Heather) of Fredericton, NB; one daughter, Coreen MacKinnon of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one grandson, Kyle Fraser; two brothers, Wendell and Gerald English.
Although there will be no visitation, a memorial service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
