Obituary of Louise Price
The family of the late Louise Marie (Cousineau) Price is saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a lengthy battle with lung disease. Louise died as she lived, stoically and courageously. Born in Ottawa, ON, on December 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Germaine (Larocque) and Emile Cousineau.
Louise is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Spencer, and her six children, Susan (Martin), Timmy, Kathy (Mike), Tony (Lori), Bobby and Ken (Kari), as well as her grandchildren who were the light of her life, Jason, Joshua, Nickole, Natasha, Swazey and Reirdan; her brothers, Gerald, Emile (Diane), Pierre (Claudette), Charles (Sylvie); her sister Pierrette (André); several sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and her aunt Claire. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Michel and André and one sister, Jackie.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Members of the Upper Miramichi Lions Club, Boiestown are asked to assemble at the funeral home for a 6:45 pm Tribute Service. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2 pm with Pastor John Nickerson officiating and Pastor Dave Williston assisting. Honourary Pallbearers for the service will be Brenda O’Donnell, Debbie Cowie, Jenny Scott, Marilyn Price, Ruth Price, Roxanne Harding and Caroline Swazey. Interment will take place in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove. For those who wish, remembrances may be made in Louise’s memory to the Upper Miramichi Lions Club, McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery or the charity of the donor’s choice.
