Obituary of Amy Horton

The passing of Amy Lynn (Hanson) Horton, wife of Tyler Horton, of Burtts Corner, NB, occurred on June 5, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 16, 1980 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of James and Shelly (Jones) Hanson. Amy was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church and graduated from Devon Park Christian School. She taught piano, was involved with Youth Group and Sandy Cove Bible Camp. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Caleb, Sophie and Samuel; brother, Jody (Jenna) Hanson of Keswick Ridge, NB and their children, Hayley, Alyssa and Charlotte; her grandparents, Mildred Hanson; Ivan and Jean Jones; mother-in law, Barb Horton; mother and father-in-law, Steve and Stacey Horton; sister-in-law, Alexandra Horton of London, England; brothers-in-law, Matthew Horton (Sara Flager) of Vancouver Island and their daughter, Kayla and David (Janine) Horton of Prince George, BC and their children, Tony, Shayla, Cooper and Tyler. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Howard Hanson Sr. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Funeral Service will be held from Devon Park Baptist Church on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2 pm with Pastor Stephen Matthews officiating. Interment will take place at Burtts Corner Community Cemetery. Reception at Cornerstone Bible Church following the interment.
