Obituary of Thomas Harding
The death of Thomas (Tom) Harding occurred peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Tom's love and caring will be forever missed by his wife, Joan; son Jeremy and his wife, Julie and their precious daughter, Sophie who was a very bright star in Tom's world. He was born in Tabusintac (Cains Point), NB in 1940 to Benjamin Harding and Eliza Wishart, predeceased; predeceased also by brother, Murray, and sister, Muriel. Mourning his passing are sisters, Kay (Roy) Adams, Ella Green, Anne Buchanan, Carolyn Matchett, and brother, Harry; sisters-in-law, Sandi (Jim) Grady and Susan (John) Poirier will also miss their "surrogate" brother. Also mourning are our wonderful "circle of friends", Doug & Linda Lingley, Bonnie Greydanus, Jim Hallett and Bonny Hoyt-Hallett and their families; nieces, nephews, and cousins and life long friends in and from Tabusintac. Tom will be remembered by all for his quiet sense of humor, terrible puns and timely one liners! Hopefully his love of music, guitar picking and all those kitchen parties and times of quiet guitar playing will not soon be forgotten. Other family and friends have a myriad of special memories of Tom which we can share and which will help us face the future. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 7-9 pm.
