Obituary of Joan Alice Amos

The passing of Joan Alice Mary Amos of Grand Lake Road, NB, wife of the late William A. Amos occurred on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 14, 1916 in Hove, England, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Charlotte Bachin. Joan is survived by her son in law, Brian Cassidy and his wife Libby of Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren, Karen Cassidy of Nackawic, NB, Susanne Duggan (Shawn) of Halifax, NS, Brenda Cassidy (David DiGiacinto) of Fredericton, NB and Brian Cassidy Jr. (Tammy Ross) of Fredericton, NB; three great-grandchildren, Finn and Bridget Duggan and Cassandra DiGiacinto; special niece, Norma Lyons; special nephew, Richard Jardine; several additional nieces and nephews; beloved extended family, Bessie, Virginia and Veronica Beek of Doaktown, NB. Besides her parents and husband, Joan was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Cassidy. A Private Graveside Service will take place at Doaktown Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
