Obituary of Myrtle Nowlan

The passing of Myrtle A. Nowlan, occurred on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Tay Creek, NB on February 9, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Hayes) Reardon. Survived by her daughter, Linda (Yves) Chamberland; son, Lloyd (Jamie) Nowlan of New Maryland, NB; granddaughter, Fawn Hill and her boys, great grandsons, Dominic, Jerome and Sayer Guay of Winnipeg, MN and granddaughter, Tanya (Nick) Mitchell of Ottawa, ON; grandsons, Travis and Jesse Nowlan of New Maryland, NB. Myrtle is also survived by brother, Leo Reardon of Fredericton, NB and his special friend, Marlene Hood; sister, Jean (Leon) Cormier of Kingsley, NB; nephew, Timmy Nowlan of MN; nieces, Patricia (Darrell) MacKinnon and Michelle Nowlan (Phillip Ingraham) of Woodlands, NB. All of her family were precious to her, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Lloyd; great grandson, Samuel Guay. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Sunday from 7 to 9. A Private Family Service will be held on Monday. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Tay Creek.
