Obituary of Della Coulsey

The passing of Della Eleanor Coulsey of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 4, 1929 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Alice (Wilkins) Coulsey. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. Della attended the Halifax School for the blind. She enjoyed playing piano at many local nursing homes and bowling. Della is survived by her sister, Avis Shanks of Fredericton, NB; two nephews, Jim Coulsey of Windsor, ON and Rick Shanks of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Donalda Coulsey of Windsor, ON; two special friends, Joyce Spears and Lynne Shanks. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Delbert Coulsey. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 2 pm with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating.
