Obituary of Gerald Niles

Gerald Ivan Niles “Gerry” passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on September 23, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Fredericton. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 32 years, Karen Lorraine Buchanan. Gerry retired from Natural Resources as a Photographer and Engineering Technician. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the New York Yankees and Montreal Canadians. In addition to his wife and close friends, he also leaves behind his son, Mark Niles of Calgary, AB; daughters, Angela Niles of Toronto, ON and Carole-Lynda (David) Mosher of Windsor, ON; six grandchildren; Evan, Christopher, Matthew, Amber, Breanna and Tyler; brother, Harry (Joey) Niles of Fredericton, NB; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazen and Viola (Myshrall) Niles Denton; daughter, Michelle Pike and sister, Joyce Morrency. There will be no visitation or service by request.
