Obituary of Peter Crawley

The passing of Peter Crawley of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of Madelyn (Bird) Crawley, occurred on Friday, September 09, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 23, 1935 in Gaskiers, NF, he was the son of the late William and Monica (Power) Crawley. Peter was a heavy equipment operator. Besides his wife, Peter is survived by his sister, Marie (Jim) St. Croix; brothers, Hubert (Patricia) Crawley, William (Helen) Crawley and Raymond (Ann Marie) Dobbin; sisters-in-law, Frances and Ethel all of St. Mary’s, NF and several nieces and nephews and their families. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Reginald, Christopher and John. A Private Graveside Service will take place at Burtts Corner Community Cemetery; with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in Peter’s home town of St. Mary’s, NF, at a later date.
