Obituary of Ives Sullivan

The passing of Ives “Ivy” Kathleen Sullivan of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 9, 1927 in Marysville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mark Wade and Thelma MacNaughton. Ivy was a member of the Fredericton Word of Faith Family Church. Ivy is survived by her daughter, Joan Cogswell (Basil) of Fredericton, NB and son, Darin Sullivan (Tanya) of Mactaquac, NB; grandchildren, Chanse and Brook Sullivan; niece, Donna Ellegood (Rick) of Nackawic, NB; nephews, Paul Gillies of Fredericton, NB and James Gillies of Lincoln, NB. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Marion Gillies and brother, Darrell Wade. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2 pm with Pastor Gary Bitely officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Chance and Darin Sullivan, James, Wayne and Darryl Gillies and Basil Cogswell. Interment will take place in Marysville United Baptist Cemetery.
