Obituary of Edward Knight

After a lengthy illness, left this world, surrounded by the love of his family and friends on Monday, October 4, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital, at the age of 45 years. Eddie will be remembered for his kind, compassionate heart and the ability to always keep you laughing and also for his extraordinary ability to draw. Eddie leaves behind his beloved mother, Marianne (Ashton) Carr; four beloved sisters, Chrissy (Dana) Knight-Parker, Cathy (Dale) Storey, Susie (Wally) Price and Patty (Stafford) Beek; one beloved brother, Ashton (fondly known as “Norm”); several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Cpl. Robert Knight. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11 am with Canon Jon Lownds officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Freddie and Michael Bustard, Bob King, Scott Beek, Robert and Dana Parker. Interment will take place in the Old Anglican Church Cemetery, Doaktown, NB. A very special thank you to our “extended family” of caregivers and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at the Oromocto Public Hospital and Sherry and Steve Keetch and workers at the Mill Cove Special Care Home for the excellent care Eddie received.
