It is with great sadness that we are sending this message to all of you.
Bonnie and David were the same age and attended school together.
We attended the FHS class reunion a few years ago which Bonnie helped organize, even including a reception at Government House. Bonnie mingled with everyone making sure they felt welcomed. She was genuinely interested in talking to others and making them feel special.
Bonnie loved life. I still remember the laughter from Maxine, Bonnie and Heather watching The Full Monty at the Toonie theatre in Nashwaaksis...and I think they had seen that particular movie before!
May God give you strength during this difficult time. We extend our deepest sympathy.
Bonnie was a friend and inpiration to many.

I was priviledged to be taught by Mrs Grant back in the 90s. I will never forget the reading sessions after lunch, the way she taught us about equality and love for everyone, and the pen on a green lanyard she wore around her neck.
Mrs Grant encouraged my love of reading and sense of social justice. She also encouraged my interest in the social sciences and inspired me to follow my dream of becoming a social worker.
She was a wonderful teacher who always had time for her students, both past and present. I'm sure like myself, she inspired and touched many people's lives.

It was with deep sense of loss and sadness that we learned of Bonnie's passing. Even though we are in Arizona at this time we had been kept abreast through Anne so we quite surprised to get the news. We have known and appreciated Bonnie's wonderful personality and her many talents for years and join others in saying she will leave a huge void in our community where she served in so many ways. Bonnie was an invaluable colleague who worked with Ron in two different schools. Unfortunately we will be unable to be there at her funeral but we will certainly be there in spirit. Bonnie re-enterred my life as we sang together in the Fredericton Ladies Choir. When I was 12, ('74/'75?)she was my music teacher at Forest Hill School. Bonnie introduced me to the works of Gordon Lightfoot. Specifically, the Canadian Railway Trilogy. That opened my eyes, not only to the unique type and style of music, but to Canadian history, sociology, geography and the progress of life. I have passed my love of that song on to my daughter. Every time I hear it I think of Bonnie and I thank her. It's amazing how one person affects another so simply and yet profoundly.

We were so saddened to hear of Bonnie's death. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
It is hard to understand why someone, with so much passion for life and many dreams still within her, as Bonnie had, would die so quickly. We hoped and prayed for a different outcome.
What an interesting coincidence that she would pass on Easter Sunday. If the message of Easter can ever speak to us, it is at a time such as this.
May the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the hope we have in Him be a source of comfort to you during these difficult days.

Bonnie was my son Peter's Grade 6 teacher, and it was my pleasure to be her "Classroom Mother" that year. She was a wonderful teacher, encouraging the children to be caring and compassionate citizens, and she was a joy for me to work with as we planned various outings and special projects for the children. She will be dearly missed, and will be remembered in my prayers.
