Obituary of Shyanne Hoben
The passing of Shyanne Wendy Hoben of Fredericton, NB occurred on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 2, 1965 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Patsy (Parsons) Hoben. She worked at Tim Horton’s in various locations. Shy loved cats, and had a lot of hobbies which included knitting newfy mitts which many of the nurses and visitors bought this past winter during her hospital stay; she also did plastic canvas decorations, she loved Bingo, listening to music and taking pictures. She enjoyed hockey and was a Montreal Canadians fan, her favorite player was Patrick Roy.
Shyanne is survived by her companion, Joe Mitchell; her sister, Lorraine Holland (John); nephews, Ashley and Tyler Holland; aunts, Geraldine Kelly (Brian), Joan Belyea, Marsha Moore (Edison), Caroline Cusack, Wendy Hoben and Joyce Storey; uncles, William Hoben (Nerene), Randy Hoben (Cathy), Peter Hoben and George Hoben; special great aunt and uncle, Jean and Deverne Woodworth and several cousins. Besides her parents and grandparents, she was predeceased by her uncles, Danny and Richard Hoben and Billy Belyea.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Krista Arbeau, Linda Poore, Sharon Newman, Sean Kelly, Greg Hoben, Mike Hoben, Ashley and Tyler Holland. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
