Obituary of Milton Munn

The passing of Milton McKay Munn of Holtville, NB, husband of Winnifred (Norrad) Munn occurred on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 8, 1946 in Holtville, NB, he was the son of Almeda Munn and the late Adrian Munn. He was a retired woodsworker. Milton was a member of the Miramichi First Pentecostal Church, Holtville, NB. He enjoyed restoring old cars, playing guitar, hunting, fishing, time at the camp and time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his mother and wife, Milton is survived by his daughter, Wilma (Donnie) MacKay; son, Norman (Lauralee) Munn; grandchildren, Gavin, Tarik and Bethany MacKay, Annalee and Levi Munn; sisters, Adria Storey, Freda (Jim) Palmer and Doris (Wendell) Russell; brothers, Hardie (Darlene) Munn and Arden Munn; mother-in-law, Margaret Norrad; sisters-in-law, Yvonne McKay, Isabelle (Juddy) Munn and Annabelle Norrad; brothers-in-law, Harry (Regina) Norrad, Weldon (Mary) Norrad, Perry (Judy) Norrad and Trevor (Erin) Norrad; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Marie Harris; father-in-law, Cecil Norrad; sister-in-law, Laura Norrad; brothers-in-law, Ray and Galdwin Norrad. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Landon Decker officiating. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
