Obituary of Edna Colford

The passing of Edna Mary Colford of Weaver Siding, NB, occurred on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 17, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Julie (Kervin) Colford. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Annunciation Church. Edna loved gardening both flower and vegetables. Edna is survived by her two brothers, Aloysius and James Colford; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Flora Cassie, Lena Colford, Jennie Storey, Annie Colford, Louise Woodcock and brothers, Philip and Carl. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place from Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, Doaktown, NB on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11 am with Father Joseph Okoko as celebrant. Interment will take place in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Blissfield, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
