Obituary of Sharon Christie

The passing of Sharon Marie Christie, wife of the late Gerald Christie, of Fredericton, occurred on Saturday, December 04, 2010 at the Shannex Parkland Fredericton, where she received excellent care from the staff. Born on October 02, 1940 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Lyman Till. Sharon was retired from there family business, Active Office. She was a member of the All Saints Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB. Sharon is survived by her children, Brian (Shelly) Christie, Sandra (Wayne) Antworth, Michael Christie and Shelley (Jamie) Willis; nine grandchildren Gerry, Christy, Courtney, Melissa, Ashley, Monica, Blair, Katlyn and Molly; five great grandchildren, Kennedy, Marlee, Renna, Evan and Hunter; sister, Dawn (Arthur) Vienneau; brothers Brian (Myrna) Till and Blair (Pat) Till; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her grandson Austin Willis. Although there will be no visitation a Funeral Service will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Canada Street, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, December 08, 2010 at 11 am with Canon John Cathcart officiating. Interment will take place in the All Saints Anglican Cemetery. Pallbearers for this service will be: Owen Fowler, Kevin McKinley, Bobbie Cavanaugh, Gilles Theriault, Terry Adair and Chris MacPherson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jean Vanstone, Media Adair, Kay McKinley and Christine Lewis. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
