Obituary of Anne-Marie Rivard

The passing of Anne-Marie Rivard of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late James Poitras occurred on Wednesday, February 09, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 8, 1945 in Grand Falls, NB, she was the daughter of Marie Louise (Michaud) Rivard and the late Antoine Rivard. She is survived by her daughters, Louise Rideout and Julie Rideout Gallibois (Edgar) all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Sydney and Riley; sisters, Gisele Oney (Fred) of Limestone, ME, Jocelyne Baranek (Butch) and Marcelle Hiatt (Ron) all of Bangor, ME, Nicole Gagnon (Guy) of Quebec, Ginette Chamberland (Rino) and Manon Kavanaugh (Dave) all of Grand Falls, NB; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11 am with Father Mark Trzop officiating.
