Obituary of Annice Short

The passing of Annice Marion Short, of Charter’s Settlement, NB, wife of Murray Short, occurred on March 6, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 28, 1940 in Woodstock, NB, she was a daughter of the late Garnet and Marion Carpenter. Annice was a member of the Nasonworth Baptist Church and the Monday Morning Ladies Bible Study Class. Annice is survived by her husband, Murray Donald Short; son, Mitchell (Patti); daughter, Elizabeth (Don Presby); daughter-in-law, Susan Short; grandchildren, Joshua (Alison), Charissa, Justin, Jordon, Allison, Sarah and Emily; four great grandchildren, Jaycob, Justis, Caley and Shaela; sisters, Julia Cummings and Joanne Carpenter; brother, Wayne Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Sgt. Robert Alan on October 2, 2003; grandson, Jacob Murray on November 5, 1983 and her sister, Lois Curtis. Visitation will take place at the Nasonworth Baptist Church, 505 Phillip Road, Nasonworth, NB on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Nasonworth Baptist Church on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. David Grey officiating. Pallbearers are Joshua and Charissa Short, Justin and Jordon Noble, Allison, Sarah and Emily Short.
