Obituary of Blanche LaPointe

The passing of Blanche Marie LaPointe of Fredericton, NB, wife of William LaPointe occurred on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on November 23, 1929 in Nash Creek, NB she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Salena Furlong. In addition to her husband, Blanche is survived by her children, Billy (Rondi) LaPointe, Herbie Hamilton, Dorothy Hamilton and Linda (Donet) Lanteigne; grandchildren, Joey, Brandon, Hollie and Alex; great grandchildren, Evan, Savana and Kaden; sisters, Ethel (Pete) Lanteigne and Florence Legallais; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Eva Richard and Opal Cartart; brothers, William, Norman and Tommy Furlong. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson.
