Obituary of Anna Votour

The passing of Anna Blanche (Brewer) Votour, wife of the late Joseph Votour, of New Bandon, NB, occurred on October 22, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 12, 1935 in Douglas, NB, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Hanson) Brewer. Anna is survived by five daughters, Linda Price-Parker (Derwin) of New Bandon, Sherry Votour of Fredericton, Brenda Munn of Kingsley, Tammy Votour of Doaktown and Susan Beek (John) of Scotland; three sons, Matthew of Fredericton, Jamieson of New Bandon and Richard (Sandra) of ON; 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Brewer (Betty) of Cold Stream; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one granddaughter, Jennifer Hamilton; two sons-in-law, Barry Price and Jeffrey “Mike” Munn; sisters, May Hanson, Arvella Hanson, Verda Kenny, Della Carten, Theresa Hagerman and Greta Haines; brothers, Raymond, Oran, Arden, Eulas, Ralph, Reginald, Royden and Vincent. Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the church on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 3 pm with Pastor Cole Price officiating. Interment will take place in Saint Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Boiestown, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
