Obituary of Adrian Clowater

The passing of Adrian Thomas Clowater, of New Bandon, NB, occurred on August 4, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 4, 1933 in McNamee, NB, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence (Sinclair) Clowater. Adrian was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a mechanic and operated a shop in New Bandon. He is survived by his companion, Audrey Weaver; children, Patricia (Wynn) of McNamee, NB, Michael (Carol) of Fredericton, NB, Wendy (Curtis) of New Bandon, NB, Tuesday (Lee) of Calgary, AB; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; siblings, Vesta Gilks (Harold), Alvin Clowater, Ralph Clowater, Ivan Clowater (Elva), Merna Hickey, Genevra Pond (Lorne) and Gene Clowater; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Edith Reeves, Alice Babin, Vimy Clowater and Irene Clowater. Although there will be no visitation by request of the family, a Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 2 pm from New Bandon United Church Cemetery with Pastor Lena Medeiros officiating. A reception will follow at the McNamee Recreation Centre. For those who wish, remembrances made to the United Church of New Bandon or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
