Obituary of Marguerite Hovey

The passing of Marguerite Irene Hovey, of Porter Cove, NB, wife of Gerald “Goosie” Hovey, occurred on October 9, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Daughter of the late Gilbert and Margaret (Palmer) Gibbons, she was born April 7, 1943, in Cardigan, NB. Marguerite was survived by two sons Tony Hovey of Porter Cove, NB and Chris Hovey of Edmonton, AB; chosen daughter Wavey Howell; five brothers Henry Gibbons of Ontario, Gilbert Gibbons Jr. of Fredericton, NB, Larry (Jennie) Gibbons of Green Hill, NB, John Gibbons of Fredericton, NB, and Jerry Gibbons of Green Hill, NB; five sisters Elsie (Edward) Doane of Jemseg, NB, Mary Gibbons-Lagacy of Fredericton, NB, Laura Gibbons of Winnipeg, MB, Annie Gibbons of Fredericton, NB and Eileen Gibbons of Storey Town, NB; several nieces and nephews and her two dogs, Ralph and Bug. She was predeceased by one sister Lila Francis Boone. At the family’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
