Obituary of Carl Colford

The passing of Carl Francis Colford of Weaver Siding, NB occurred on Monday, November 29, 2010 at home. Born on June 13, 1928 in Howards, NB, he was the son of the late Harrison and Julie (Kervin) Colford. He was a woodsworker and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Carl is survived by two brothers, Aloysius and James Colford; sister, Edna Colford and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Philip; sisters, Flora Cassie, Lena Colford, Jennie Storey, Annie Colford and Louise Woodcock. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11 am with Father Joseph Okoko as celebrant. Interment will take place in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Blissfield, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
