Obituary of Leslie Alan Squire

SQUIRE, LESLIE ALAN “AL” The passing of Leslie Alan Squire occurred peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his home in Lakeville Corner, NB. Born on October 21, 1961 in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Leslie “Les” and June (Clancy) Squire. Al was a bricklayer by trade, and worked as a Custodian for the Provincial Government for 34 years. He very much loved his family and grandchildren. Al is survived by his wife, Jolene (Miller) Squire; daughters, Joanne Dauphinee (Josh), Ericka Mallais (Mike) and Jody Beck; son, Bradley Squire; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Mitchell Mallais, Carson and Cash Brown and Hayden Knox-Squire; sister, Patricia Michaud (Yvon); two nephews, Matthew Michaud (Ali) and Jeff Michaud (Amanda); one great-niece, June. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Al’s life will be held at the Four Lakes Senior Citizens Club, 1395 Route 670, Lakeville Corner, NB on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 3-6 pm; there will be Words of Remembrance at 4 pm. A Private Family Interment will take place in Byno Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Oromocto/Minto Extra Mural Program or the Four Lakes 50 Plus Club Senior Centre.
